“Mleko i Miód” (Milk & Honey) is a set designed on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Polish Presidency of the European Union. The set consists of the honey jar, the mug, the honey spoon and the recipe for preparing the drink which is deep-rooted in Polish tradition: milk with honey. The drink itself is delicate in taste and, owing to its ingredients, it is very beneficial for our health. Milk & Honey supports the heart and influences the immune system against cold, flu and stress effects. The design of the set has been inspired by the authentic themes derived from Polish culture and tradition. The shape of the mug resembles milk cans, typical of Polish rural areas. The spoon in turn has been created in the shape of a quill pen, which was the attribute of a poet who used to describe the picturesque and “bulging with milk and honey” landscape.
